The launch of the football World Cup in Qatar is approaching. On November 20, 2022, this competition organized by the FIFA (International Federation of Football Association) will begin where 32 international football teams will compete in 64 matches.

Qatar hosts this 2022 edition which will take place in its eight stadiums built for the occasion, in five different cities. The Gulf Country has been preparing for months to make this event spectacular, at the height of the competition, but also at the height of the country.

For this World Cup 2022, the host country is not the only destination coveted by fans. Indeed, a never seen affluence in Qatar is expected for the next few weeks, with many Hotels and various accommodations sold out. Many soccer fans then chose to stay in the nearby cities of Abu Dhabi and Dubai and travel to Qatar on match days.

This sporting event only happens every 4 years and must be well prepared by the supporters that are attending it.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is the 22nd edition of this competition organized by FIFA which brings together the best national teams. It will take place in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022, the national holiday of the Qatari country.

The period chosen for the occasion is unprecedented. Indeed, the desert and arid climate of this region of the world, pushes the organization to be oriented towards the months of November and December, where the weather is milder and thus avoid the hot months of June and July.

This 2022 FIFA World Cup is the sporting event of the year. The kick-off of this competition is scheduled for Sunday, November 20 at 5 pm with a match between Qatar, the host country of this event, and Ecuador.

To reach the final of this World Cup, the qualified teams will have to pass the different group matches, reach the round of 16, the ¼ finals, then the semi-final, to finally hope to win the cup.
